Twelve-Thirty Update

POST-MIDNIGHT UPDATE
The following are the updates from the Orange County Registrar of Voters site as of 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning and will be my last report until later this morning.

NO CHANGES IN COSTA MESA COUNCIL NUMBERS
There have been no changes in the precincts counted in the Costa Mesa council race and the Measure V race.

TWO THUMPINGS IN MCWD RACES
It looks like, with all precincts counted, that Fred Bockmiller has kicked lame duck mayor Eric Bever's fanny in the race for Bockmiller's Mesa Consolidated Water District seat.  Yes, I'm smilin'...

And, sadly, it looks like Righeimer's protege', Ethan Temianka, has soundly thumped long time director Trudy Ohlig-Hall for her seat on the MCWD.

MEASURE V LAST SEEN SPIRLING TOWARD EARTH
And, it appears that Jim Righeimer's Charter - Measure V - is going down in flames.  More smilin' here.

MORE LATER.. FINGERS CROSSED FOR STEPHENS
More later Wednesday... hoping for continuing improvement in John Stephens' numbers.  We have a darn close race that might come down to the provisional ballots that will be counted later.
