What is Gericault NOT GOING TO DO.........hold a press conference and decry the abuses about Costa Mesa Booster programs.
Sorry,......but watching the BS today has gotten me sick to my stomach.
Two measly signs.......Fitzy is despicable.

I knew this organization was full of thugs who like to steal more than just signs.

Booster: I'm confused by that statement. Are you saying that the High School Booster club is full of thieves? Or are you accusing them of stealing signs?

One definition of "boost" is "steal", as in "I boosted a whole truckful of merchandise."

Boost the Booster is exemplifying one of the traits we see so often - the assumption that the "other side" in whatever battle they're involved in is responsible for everything that's wrong in the world.

FeIt's the "they" offense. "They" caused it, or look what "they" have done now. It's part of the demonization process, and it makes them feel good because they (now I'm saying it!) have a single group to blame for everything. Also, if they can get others to buy into it, they avoid having to discuss the real issues.

I suspect that "Boos the Booster" isn't smart enough to comprehend the English language; hence the inane comment. He/she read "Police: Booster club president suspected of embezzlement." What that meant in his or her kool aid saturated mind was "Police booster club president suspected of embezzlement."

@Boost the Booster: The CMHS Band program is nowhere near filled with any thieves. you are in NO position to be holding such accusations. The poor lapse of judgment by one person should not reflect the communities view on the program because that booster club is NOT full of thieves.

@Who Knows-you're right, the booster club is not full of thieves, but it's certainly not empty of them either. Ouch.

You know why Mike Reicher no longer writes for the Daily Pilot. Because he is a real writer. He investigates and does his homework. He is talented will do very well. Not like the hacks over the years who have written for the Pilot or this new lacky they have.

It's pretty sad because Costa Mesa have given any writer worth their salt a great opportunity to further their careers and make a name for themsleves but sadly the quality of reporters and writers at the Pilot is and has been well below par.

@Boost the Booster: Just because of one person's poor judgment, doesn't mean you can say ANYTHING about that group of people. That booster club works much harder to help their kids than any other group.
