Today over the transom comes word from the 405 Freeway Cities Coalition that Fullerton (?) Assemblywoman Young Kim wil be holding a press conference on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. to announce the introduction of her State legislation to prohibit new Toll Facilities in Orange County without the approval of 2/3 of the Orange County voters. Before they stopped taking cash, I rarely drove The Toll Roads; now, I don't drive them at all.

I’ve been told that even if a bill is likely to get bipartisan support, don’t pick an OC Republican to sponsor it. It’s the kiss of death in Sacramento.
Can anyone think of a bill of any substance sponsored by an OC Republican that passed in the past few years?
Sure. Allan Mansoor had the word "retard" removed from the official government lexicon. That was the ONLY thing he accomplished.
