I thought about volunteering, but after thinking about all the things that the councilmen has done to this city, I chose not to.
What has the councilmen done for this city but take away police services, increase spending on unneeded executive staff and our crime is way up!
NOPE: Exactly nothing.
Don't blame you. I feel the same way.
My wife and I won't be volunteering either. Why add legitimacy to the likes of Righeimer, Mensinger, and Monahan.
I think some of you folks are missing the point here. If you're inclined to want to help with the 60th celebration you should step up. This isn't about Mensinger or Righeimer, it's about 60 years as a city and it's going to be one GREAT celebration weekend next week.
If you have the time, inclination and energy, sign up and help out.
Geoff, you are probably right, but can't help the way I feel. We will probably attend, but doubt that will be one place I'll volunteer.
Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I hate what has happened and still is happening in our city. Nothing has been the same since Righeimer took office. Shame on the councilmen.
