The intent is to expand the City's ability to define and abate public nuisances. This is a HUGE deal that will likely mean significant code enforcement activities throughout the city if passed. You can read that staff report HERE.

At 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers one of the best kept secrets will occur. This is a community meeting to inform the public on the plans for the 60th Anniversary Celebration which kicks off the last weekend of June. We expect to hear Public Affairs Manager Dan Joyce and Chairman of the 60th Anniversary Celebration Committee, Mike Scheafer, tell the community of all the good things that are presently scheduled for the kick-off and throughout the year.
