60th Anniversary Committee Making Progress
The latest meeting of the Costa Mesa 60th Anniversary Committee Thursday night showed excellent progress.LOWERY AND JOYCE
The meeting, chaired this time by Vice Chair Melinda Lowery with the absence of Chair Mike Scheafer, again broke into sub-committees to further flesh out budget issues and begin working on time lines. Public Affairs Manager Dan Joyce, on hand to help answer questions, will compile the results of these efforts and coordinate the activities next Thursday, at what may be the final meeting of the month for the group.FINE-TUNING THE NUMBERS
Tentative budget numbers compiled by the individual sub-committees indicate a financial requirement of somewhere north of $270,000 for all anticipated events. Those numbers will be fine-tuned by Joyce and the committee and the whole package will be presented to the City Council at it their meeting on February 5th.DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS, WORKING HARD
From our observations of the planning going on over the past couple weeks, the volunteers and staffers assigned to this task are working hard with very good progress. After all the planning is finalized and the council signs in with comments and financial commitments the real hard work begins. Geoff, next time you have lunch with your buddy Shaefer ask him of he was on a trash boondoggle and if so how much that cost the taxpayers?
Geez, at least spell his name correctly if you're going to malign him, for goodness sake.
i watch, next time you see your "buddy" Fitzy ask him if he ever wonders who might have a screen shot of his "Sandy misses her period" commentary from the OC Taxpayers page that went way beyond criticism of punctuation?
Or whose fingerprints might be on the Sandy Genis campign signs that were so rudely defaced, where someone changed the first letter of her last name from "G" to "P" and even posed with the signs around town? This is way more innappropriate and malicious than stealing or tearing signs. Could it be the same person as the loud and immature whiner about every one of the mmm's defaced campaign signs? Tell us, Fitzy, uh, I mean i watch. Tell us if you know this creep.
Geoff, instead of spell check, why not ask this guy for proof. You don't like Fitzy. Evidence of the alleged would not be a good thing. Why not seek the proof?
