Special School Board Safety Meeting Tomorrow

SPECIAL SAFETY MEETING AT 2:30 TUESDAY
According to a message from Laura Boss, Director of District Communication, the Newport-Mesa Unified School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. to discuss school safety issues.  The meeting will be held at NMUSD headquarters.

COSTA MESA AND NEWPORT BEACH POLICE LEADERS
This meeting, in response to the tragedy last week in Newtown, Connecticut, will be a roundtable conversation on the district's safety efforts.  There will be input from Costa Mesa Police Chief Gazsi and Newport Beach Deputy Chief McGill.  The public's participation is invited.  This seems to be a good opportunity to ask about the School Resource Officer program, for example. I say we make emotional decisions without any facts. Rather than utilize Reserve Officers I say we use regular cops so that in 10 years when new ideas and technology os available we have burdened our kids with big fat pensjon obligations, bumping rights, and many other unsolved issues.

CM4RG, are you with me?

Troll (Internet)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Internet slang, a troll ( /ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is someone who posts inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[3] The noun troll may also refer to the provocative message itself, as in: "That was an excellent troll you posted."

Anyone know if Fitzy has found full-time work?

I don't think Mike is exactly back in the fold. He suffured a koolade allergy and had a really violent reaction, he cut the strings to his puppeteers. Unless it was justa case of temporary sanity.

I remember in May '98 three teens used a homemade bomb to blow up a pay phone at Estancia in the middle of the night. Luckily, this incident occured when the students and school staff were not in session...
