Snoopy House Opens Friday

CHARLIE BROWN AND FRIENDS ARE BACK
The Snoopy House display will officially open Friday, December 14th, at 5:00 p.m. on the lawn in front of the Costa Mesa City Hall.  This marks the 46th year - the 2nd at City Hall - that the Jordan family has provided this lovingly-crafted, clever and fun holiday display for their friends and neighbors to enjoy.
HONORED GUEST AND NEW EVENTS
This year Jill Schulz, daughter of Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, will serve as the grand marshal, and Snoopy will make an appearance, courtesy of Knott's Berry Farm.  The opening night event will also feature a new light show on City Hall, real snow, holiday tree decorating, a visit from Santa and food trucks.
HELP STILL NEEDED
Volunteers are still being sought to help with donations and the final touches in the erection of the many elements of the display and to help with the nightly operations.  You can read about those opportunities at the city web site, HERE.  The Snoopy House will be open from 5:00 to 9:00 each night from the 14th until December 23rd.
