TeWinkle Park Athletic Complex Task Force Member Sought
Costa Mesa's Interim Director of Communication, Bill Lobdell, sent out a press release today announcing the recruitment for a member of the community to become part of the TeWinkle Park Athletic Complex Task Force. The text of that Press Release is below:
The City of Costa Mesa is seeking a community member to serve on the recently formed TeWinkle Park Athletic Complex Task Force, which will consist of nearby residents, sports advocates and one at-large member. The deadline to apply is Friday at 3 p.m.
The task force will be looking at the potential for a public-private partnership to manage the ball fields at the park.

Additional Job Requirements: MUST agree with Jim Righeimer and Steve Mensinger on everything, and polish their shoes as well. Minor errands (i.e. money runs to OCGOP HQ) also necessary.
The last thing I want to see in that park is the deletion of a baseball field for a Costa Mesa joint venture junk food restaurant and junk food restaurant parking lot.
Ya... right.
They will get another 39 submittles and then vote to change the rules.
