LIES FLOURISH AT CM OPEN
The CM Press apologists over at the CM OPEN continue to foist off lies on their handful of readers. I've continued to visit the site, hoping for something substantive and worth my time. So far, all I've found is lie after lie, which is very disappointing, but not unexpected. Obviously, they cannot defend their idol with logic and facts, so they must resort to lies, distortions and attacks on those of us - this site and others - who offer opposing viewpoints.
CONSIDERING THE SOURCE
I don't mind a little spirited discussion on issues, but that seems not to be the goal of that hit site. It appears, based on their first few pathetic efforts, that the only goal they have is to defend the CM Press, which makes one curious about the author(s). We'll assume, unless proven otherwise, that CM OPEN is generated (maybe I should say degenerated) by the same source as the CM Press.
I SIMPLY MUST CHUCKLE
I must confess no small degree of amusement as the distortions presented at the CM OPEN and CM Press are debunked on an almost daily basis at sites like CM TRUTH and CMunimPRESSed.
I CONCEDE...
It's not really worth my time to get into a peeing contest with that site. I'll concede that they've got the biggest bladder. Heck, I'll concede that they are full of excremental effluent, too, since that seems to be the case based on their contributions so far.
PERFECT IMAGE
Incidentally, that image above is the world-famous Manneken Pis, in Brussels, Belgium. You see it here in it's "raw" condition, but it may frequently be found dressed in any manner of garb. Occasionally it's stolen - the thing is only a couple feet tall - but is usually located and returned. I thought the image of an infantile urinator was perfectly appropriate for a blog entry about the CM OPEN.
THE BEAT GOES ON, AND ON....
In the meantime, the lies, fabrications and distortions continue at both the CM Press and CM OPEN...

No, Geoff is a CM & NB! Maybe heavily weighted toward CM, but he is harder to pigeonhole!
That's what happens when you live near the border. No fence here, though - I can scamper back and forth as I wish - kind of like our southern border with Mexico.

I don't have a clue as to what the hell is going on over at "CMOpen" - it is like some odd alternate universe.
I enjoyed the distortion of a cmtruth quote where they highlighted a section of facts but chose to ignore the sentence that immediately followed.
"While it's obvious that crime does in fact exist here, the perceived notions that it is a slum that harbors nothing but crime is a stretch.""
Sounds to me like two things an admission of crime and a challenge to the notion that all Shalimar residents are criminals.
Rob, you have NO idea! Their posts are disjointed, even before they modify them and delete parts. They say they will accept comments, then modify them or delete them arbitrarily. It's very likely that their "team" - what a joke that term is! - is suffering from early onset dementia. It's always good for a chuckle as I try to envision this little group, huddled together in the Mesa North cave, trying to think of something clever to post.
Ms. Mae? We get your comments over at cmtruth but we do not post them due to the amount a foul language you continue to include with every post. We welcome your commentary over there but please keep the profanity for the streets.

If you feel our staff reported an issue incorrectly tell us. We are not opposed to correcting entries (and frequently do) as news develops. But if you continue to resort to bigotry we will write about it.

In fairness we did include those comments. We are pretty aware of what CMTruth is about and his methods are irresponsible. Yes there are some great people living here in our neighborhoods. We are very aware of it. We also see our neighborhood as one that could be a great if we can curb the crime problems. When CMTruth tell citizens and city officials everything is good in our neighborhoods (which it’s not) no one feels there’s a problem that needs immediate attention. Several of our staff and readers have been victimized by gangs in the area. They have paid with emotional pain, loss of loved ones, and spending money they could have better used to feed their families. How do you think they feel when CMTruth tries to downplay every crime report?
One of our staff says she’s willing to bet CMTruth doesn’t live in our neighborhood. So what makes him the authority? Because he hangs out with local gang members? Please.

Please note that we here (that's the "royal we") at A Bubbling Cauldron publish comments submitted without editing them, even though they are presented by a "group" whose blog exists only to denigrate the efforts published here and on a couple other local blogs. We don't plan to submit comments on cmopen since we don't trust "them" to present them accurately.
I'm happy to welcome the cmopen "team" (what a crock!) to this site if they really want to discuss an issue in our city. If their only intent is to function as apologists for The Mouth over at the CM Press, then those discussions will be very, very brief.
I find it fascinating that they seem to have their collective panties in a bunch because they cannot identify the blog authors at CM Truth and CMunimPRESSed, and therefore attempt to invalidate the observations presented on those sites.
They pretend to be Westside residents, beleaguered by the brown invaders who are ruining their lives. I don't think so.... I think "they" are just the guy at the CM Press trying to find a clever way to make it appear that his views are broadly held - just as he did on the Daily Pilot blog before it began requiring registration. You'll recall that he immediately went into a funk and sat pouting in his Mesa North cave, refusing to participate where the playing field was level. What a hypocrite.

cmopen, you are are so far off base Your "staff" who "thinks" we don't live in the neighborhood is wrong and good luck on your details pending re: Mr. Diamond. 100% positive you nor any of your "staff" know him.
We at CMTRUTH are far from narrow minded and intolerance, but nice try.
As for downplaying every crime report, if it's a report from the CIS you are correct. If it's showing why comparing city to city crime stats is wrong and even stated as such by the FBI on their own report, you also are correct.
As for the "mocumentary" as you refer to it,cmtruth is not making the documentary. You should wait until you know what it's even about before making assumptions.
Also we have NEVER stated that non gang graffiti is ok. What we have done is inform the public on the differences. We don't hide it we show people current graffiti and help individuals understand what kind of graffiti is plaguing their neighborhood.
We felt it was about time the facts were presented as opposed to fools at city council meetings trying to inform the public on gang problems while holding up pictures of non gang tags.
We could point out SEVERAL non factual elements in some of your posts regarding CMTRUTH, as we have done, but considering who you are it's just not worth the time nor the effort. It's great you are concerned about Shalimar, are you also concerned about Joann Street?
