Charter Deadline Gaffe Hearing Tomorrow
MISSED DEADLINE CASE HEARING
A hearing in the lawsuit filed by the City of Costa Mesa against the Registrar of Voters on the subject of the missed deadline in submitting all the paperwork to get Jim Righeimer's Charter on the June 5th ballot is scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, 2012 (tomorrow) in Judge Franz Miller's courtroom at the Orange County Superior Court in Santa Ana. It is courtroom C-14 and the hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
PAPERWORK STILL PENDING
According to the clerk in that courtroom this morning, the paperwork necessary for this hearing had not yet been filed, but is due by 4:00 today.
MORE NEWS ON THIS TOMORROW
Sources tell me that it is likely that a determination will be made by Judge Miller tomorrow, so we should have some kind of report from The City then. I'll report when I know.
