Horns Over Tide by 3

TOP RANKED 'TIDE FAVORED
OK, I know the Alabama Crimson Tide is favored over the Texas Longhorns in tonight's national championship game at t
he Rose Bowl. I know the 'Tide has the top defense in the country and the reigning Heisman Trophy winner in running back Mark Ingram. I know that the 'Tide quarterback has NEVER lost a game.... I know all that.

COSTA MESA CONNECTION WITH 'TIDE

I know that Alabama has been domiciled and practiced in Costa Mesa for the past several days while Texas was housed and practiced elsewhere.... I know all that stuff.

LONGHORNS WILL WIN!

All that being said, I think the Longhorns, led by quarterback Colt McCoy, will find a way to win this thing tonight. I think it will be close, but the Longhorns will pull it out, 31-28... Hook 'em, Horns!

What are you smoking these days? The Tide will roll all over those longhorns. What kind of name is Colt McCoy anyway?

Me too! Go Horns! I'm all about Big 12!! Did you see my post about the motorcycle CHP escort the teams were getting from NB to the Rose Bowl?

Oh, well... it was a great game and Alabama deserved to win. Stars on both sides were injured but others picked up the slack. I thought Texas might pull it out when they came back to 24-21, but it was not to be. Congrats to Alabama and look out for them again next year!

Not such a good game. I could have been the defensive coordinator for both teams and been successful. Key on Ingram for the Tide and Shipley for the Horns. It was too bad ole Colt couldn't continue, but as the Mushy Brent said "gotta keep his NFL objectives in mind". What a statement. Fourth quarter was enough to watch.
