Reminder - SR-55 Freeway Extension Presentation on Tuesday
STUDY SESSION TUESDAY
Just a brief reminder, neighbors, that the Costa Mesa City Council will hear a report from consultant LSA Associates and representatives of the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) regarding the progress on the study of the possible extension of SR-55 from 19th Street to the Newport Beach city limits at their Study Session Tuesday, September 9 2008 (tomorrow).
STARTS AT 4:30 SHARP!
Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m., with the presentation on SR-55 anticipated to commence at 5:00. If normal study session rules are followed, only 15 minutes TOTAL will be alloted for public comments on ANY agenda item, so the long-winded among us will be disappointed.
LIBRARY PRESENTATION TO FOLLOW
Following the OCTA presentation there will be a staff presentation on the proposed library near City Hall.
PLUS, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETS AT 6:30
And, after all that - around 6:30 the council will morph into the Redevelopment Agency and conduct it's regularly scheduled meeting. Whew!

And CMPress continues the hard sell for his troika. Yawn....
Bruce, do you see the look of surprise on my face? Didn't think so... :-) If you've not checked the CMTRUTH blog recently, the last couple entries are excellent - and stiff-arm the CM Press very effectively.
I did notice what I thought was a look of shock and dismay! Perhaps it was just indigestion; have you been eating at Skosh's again? Remember what Eric Bever said, you have to go to Fountain Valley for a good sit-down restaurant. :)
I am still surprised that Gary didn't stand up and walk over to Eric and smack him on the head when he said that. Well, maybe he did stand up and I didn't notice. Sorry, short people should tell short jokes, I know!
I have been wandering over to CMTruth on a regular basis. Good read. I am being tutored on graffiti.
