MESA WATER DISTRICT
Incumbent Jim Fisler leads challenger Alex Reich by 1,499 votes.
GROWTH ISSUES
Measure Y - the Smart Growth Initiative is passing with a 2-1 margin. Measure Z, the City-generated measure designed to confuse the voters, is passing, but by a much smaller margin.
FAIRVIEW PARK ISSUES
Measure AA, the citizen-generated measure designed to protect Fairview Park, is passing by a wide margin - much more than 2-1. The city measure - BB - which was placed on the ballot to confuse the voters, is failing.
MEDICAL MARIJUANA ISSUES
Both citizen-generated medical marijuana measures - V and W - are failing. Measure X, the City-generated substitute is passing.
VOTE BY DISTRICTS
Sadly, Measure EE - Jim Righeimer's hijacked measure that includes a directly-elected mayor, is passing. He finally managed to fool the public.

Thanks for the update, Geoff.
Just to be clear, you did state that self-professed "solutioneer" Jim Fitzpatrick trails Monahan by 2,456 votes, missing out on that seat he promised us he would win by more than 7,000 votes, didn't you? Would that be "village idiot" Jim Fitzpatrick that trails Monahan by 2,456 votes, missing out on that seat he promised us he would win by more than 7,000 votes?
who are these 41-47 people anyway? that's what i wanna know :)
So the "solutiioneer" didn't have the solution? Now there's a shock. I'm just surprised that many people voted for the Monahan. I have to give him credit for about 1500 more votes than I thought he'd get. I am quite frankly surprised that the city voted for Mansoor after his stint, and the "vacation" he took in the Assembly.
