Final Costa Mesa Candidate Forum Thursday Night

EASTSIDE COSTA MESA NEIGHBORS GROUP FORUM
The Eastside Costa Mesa Neighbors Group (ECMNG) is hosting the final Costa Mesa City Council candidate forum on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Neighborhood Community Center, 1845 Park Avenue (Costa Mesa Room).  Meet and Greet the candidates from 6:30p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with the Forum running from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  I'm told all the candidates have been invited to participate.

SHOULD CONTINUE THEIR PRACTICE OF EXCELLENT FORUMS
This should be a fine way to tighten your focus on candidates interested in running for City Council, and to hear their views on important issues facing the city today and the years to come.  In the past, my Eastside neighbors have conducted an excellent forum and I expect this one will continue in that vein.  Tell your friends and neighbors.  Mark your calendars.  See you Thursday.

Re the 2008 vote to increase employee pensions in Costa Mesa:
"The real culprits" are past council members who approved the plan, Councilman Steve Mensinger said. "The employees are not the issue." (Daily Pilot)

On the council - his running mate Allan Mansoor and his buddy Eric Bever. Not Jay, John, or Sandy.

On top of that, Allan R. Mansoor cost the city an estimated million bucks by cloturing Benito Acosta (AKA Coyotl Tezcatlipoca) and having him hauled out by police, all quite illegally and unconstitutionally. I don't have the exact number, but 'twasn't probably less than $250,000 nor probably more than five million. Allan is the Jubilation T. Cornpone of our humble town, although we have yet to erect a statue to him.
