Big Fire Department Ceremony Friday Morning

A SPECIAL DAY FOR THE COSTA MESA FIRE DEPARTMENT
Chief Dan Stefano and the Costa Mesa Fire Department today announced that on Friday, October 30, 2015, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in City Council Chambers, there will be an official swearing-in ceremony for several staff members who have had recent promotions.

FOUR MEN PROMOTED
Steve Airey, Fred McDowell and Taylor Voss will officially receive their badges for their promotion to Captain and Jason Pyle will receive his badge for promotion to Division Chief.  You can read about their backgrounds in the official press release, HERE.
PLUS, THE 9-11 RESCUE REMEMBRANCE PROJECT
Coinciding with the swearing-in ceremony there will be a display of the 9-11 Rescue Remembrance Project.  Read more about that HERE.

CV - very funny! Thank goodness a cc quorum isn't required or this would NOT be taking place. Speaking of which, any bets on the meeting with the cmpA this evening?? Given his track record, odds are very long that Gary will show. If he actually does attend this meeting though, you all know that Gary will immediately report the contents of the meeting to the RIGmeister and Baby Hughie, which is illegal for him to do.
