Lot of people on pins and needles right now. This could be a historic day for Costa Mesa.
The Righeimer regime has already lost. As of this weekend's count, nearly half of his 2010 votes have gone elsewhere or didn't vote.
In an election that unseated Democrats nationally and in the county, his brand moved them forward in Costa Mesa.
Instead of embracing Capitelli, he tried to pander to the non-white and female voters. Hey Jim! There was an open seat. It was up to you to maintain yours.
His stacked committee of Charter writers failed worse than his first attempt. And he takes Scott Baugh down with him.
The citizens of Costa Mesa have already won.
Im humming, my fingers crosssd. my eyes are crossed, I have a St Jude candle burning non stop for over eight days...wishing on evening star, invoking prayers to every deity, wearing my lucky earrings...and hoping the majority of CM residents voted with care...go Jay..is it 5 pm yet?
I have to admit I was waiting for something when this Kink's song came out in 1965, and I am still waiting almost 50 years later.
