Press Conference Pending On Thursday's Tragedy

PRESS CONFERENCE SCHEDULED AT 4:00
Costa Mesa Chief Executive Officer Tom Hatch sent out yet another press release this afternoon announcing a press conference to begin at 4:00 to address yesterday's tragedy. The full text of that press release is below.

ONLY CREDENTIALED NEWS FOLKS ALLOWED
It apparently is open ONLY to credentialed media, so I will have to wait reports and/or the availability of the news conference on the city web site. Apparently Gary Monahan and other council members will address the press. Hope he got rid of his kilt.

Why would you be interested in Monahan getting rid of his kilt? I personally have no interest in seeing him without his kilt.

Yup if the kilt came off we would have to call out the grief councilors again for those who witnessed the horror.

This PROVES that there is a void of leadership in Costa Mesa. At the press conference, Gary, the MAYOR could only say "No Comment."

I thought "no comment" was reserved for those who had something to hide?

Mr Mayor, please grow some.....leadership skills.

The reason Gary had to say "no comment", is because a lie needs to be dressed up, while the truth can run around naked.

Interesting he said he was in contact with two of his council colleagues; not the City Manager ("CEO"...gasp), Chief of Police, Personnel Director etc. He's the kid on the playground who has to hide behind his big brothers. Anyone else notice how suddenly bold he became once these two other loosers ended up on the council? He's pathetic.
