Final Election Results Still Pending

MORE THAN 63,000 VOTES LEFT TO COUNT
According to the Orange County Registrar of Voters web site, after 5:00 p.m. today there are still slightly more than 63,500 votes to be counted in the November 2nd election.

As of that time, here are some current numbers in some races of interest:

COSTA MESA CITY COUNCIL
Righeimer and Leece far ahead, with relative percentages basically unchanged.
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
Mike Scheafer 356 votes ahead of Arlene Schafer. Ooten and Fitzpatrick still lead

MESA CONSOLIDATED WATER DISTRICT
Shawn Dewane a winner. Fisler only 69 votes ahead of Worthington

68th ASSEMBLY DISTRICT
Mansoor well ahead of Nguyen

"Yes" votes still ahead
