are you spending your weekend? Doing fun stuff, I hope. Well, just in case you run out of those kinds of things, here are some suggestions:

WATCH CITY COUNCIL DAY CARE EPISODE
Watch the Costa Mesa City Council meeting from last Tuesday, the 17th, HERE. If you drag the scroll bar across to about the 03:40:00 point and watch the remainder you will get to see the petulance of Mayor Allan Mansoor as he, with his not-to-swift brain, tries to figure out the most politically expedient move to make when voting (or not voting) on the new youth soccer league in town. It's entertaining - pathetic, but entertaining.

an do as Katrina Foley says she's doing in a Daily Pilot article, and read through the 81 page draft ground lease for the Fairgrounds, looking for ways to make it more acceptable. You can read it HERE. The council, as the Orange County Fairgrounds Authority, will be happy to hear your views and concerns at their meeting on Tuesday, August 24th at 5:30 p.m.

Spent my day at the range with students yesterday and took a relaxing motorcycle ride this AM.
I am not a legal beagle, so reading the lease agreement, as fascinating as it may be, would probably just put me to sleep.
So, are you an illegal beagle? If so, I need to call the ICE agent in our jail. Oh, that's right.. we don't have one there any more. Darn!
That is good, because I understand that illegal (or unlicensed) beagles get fixed before they are returned home... nothing in that process sounds pleasant!
Bruce, you may be on to something! I'm surprised that the MinuteIdiots or others of their ilk have not suggested mandatory sterilization before deportation! Shhhh, don't tell anybody..
