DUI Checkpoint Is Productive

LATEST CHECKPOINT NUMBERS
In a press release today the Costa Mesa Police Department reported the results of the most recent DUI/ID Checkpoint conducted last Friday night, January 30, 2014.

GOOD RETURN ON INVESTMENT
According to the information provided in the synopsis of the report, below, nineteen (19) individuals who were violating laws were removed from the streets.  Despite what Mayor Pro Tem (MPT, pronounced eMPTy) Jim Righeimer thinks, this seems to be a pretty good return on investment for the time and effort expended.

THANKS FOR THAT...
Kudos to the men and women of the Costa Mesa Police Department for making our streets just a little safer last Friday night.

RALLY TOMORROW
Perhaps you will find the opportunity to express your gratitude at the rally planned at City Hall tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3rd beginning at 4:00 p.m., before the City Council meeting.  Both Police and Fire services will be honored at the rally to thank those folks for their dedication to keeping our city safe.  See you there.
