Today's the day! You can't complain later if you don't exercise your right to vote today. Ignore those illegal Bever and Monahan banners all over town and vote, preferably for my choices:

The OC Reg is already posting CM Council tallies - and it's Monahan, Foley and Bever in the top 3 spots...all that money, and so far Riggy's losing again.

You'll notice that no precincts are reported yet - ZERO! Those are absentee and early voters. The real numbers are yet to be shown and the Bever/Riggy race is close....
I have to say I agree, grudgingly, with your Riggy endorsement. At least I sense he'll do what he thinks is right, and not what Mansoor, Leece, Monahan, Bever or anyone else thinks he should do.
And I had a feeling those were all the absentee/early voters - impressed by how many voted early from our little town.
Most of all, I was impressed with Mr. McCain's speech tonight - rocking my 6-month-old to sleep and in tears, he blew me away with his message of reconciliation. I knew he had a sense of humor and class, and was very impressed he showed it tonight.
We've got big problems in this country (and city)...I hope Obama can solve them. But at least I voted for him, so I'm counting on him!
mesa verde madman, well said. I just finished watching McCain, then Obama. The way the numbers are looking nationally right now, the overwhelming mandate of "the people" seems clear. Fasten your seatbelt...
