Right-wing indignation! Always good for a laugh.
Yet we should stay a general law city so Sacramento can continue to lead us?
Phil, don't be such a moron. All these new pathetic laws will apply whether Costa Mesa is a charter city or not. At the least you can laugh along. You chose to live here in the left coast. Either assimilate or move. Resistance is futile.
One must assume you would prefer to feel the pain of a lion or crocodile eating you alive, without the courtesy of euthanization. If so, why the constant public concern about death penalty recipients feeling a little pain from being put to death? You can't have it both ways.
Incidentally, an animal is an animal, is an animal. Small creatures don't enjoy being eaten anymore than you would. Where is your compassion?
Mental note: Do not waste euthanasia on dumb dudes like Chuckmeister, if he ever gets the death penalty.
On a collision course with itself... Euthanizing your gerbil humanely, so he or she does not feel pain upon the act, requires some form of consciousness-altering poison. But won't the drug residues thereby introduced into the corpus delicti prove deleterious to the health of your poor unfortunate python? Perhaps... there oughta be a law. Or maybe the legislature is a bunch of predidis mammalian chauvinist humans? Dey predidis, baby.
From a neighbor who used to raise rats for their python, it was my understanding that python's won't eat dead prey. What is amusing is how is the State going to monitor that? Are they going to go out in the fields and watch to make sure a gopher snake and other constrictors only eat dead prey.
