Righeimer Lead Over Humphrey Cut To 23!

WORKERS TOIL ON THE WEEKEND
Registrar Neal Kelley's merry band of vote counters worked through the day today to try to meet their goal of finishing the Orange County vote count by next Friday.  You can view the results HERE.

THE COSTA MESA COUNCIL RACE TIGHTENS UP
Locally, here's how the Costa Mesa City Council race looked.  Katrina Foley gained 1.247 votes to extend her lead.  Jim Righeimer is still second, but continued to lose ground to Jay Humphrey.  Righeimer gained 978 votes but Humphrey gained 1,044 votes and now stands only 23 votes  behind Righeimer.
THE REST OF THE PACK
Lee Ramos gained 740 votes today.  Tony Capitelli gained 210 votes.  Al Melone gained 139 votes.   Rita Simpson gained 135.  Chris Bunyan gained 157 and remains in last place.

WHAT'S LEFT?
 According to the ROV site, HERE,  they made good inroads into the remaining ballots.  There remain only 54,070 ballots countywide to be counted.  According to the website, the next count will be reported Monday evening at 5:00 P.M., so we all can take tomorrow and Monday off!

WOW, the Public Square folks became all cocky yesterday and today (before 5pm today), after the Mayor increased his lead. The comments they are making are so laughable and yet at the same time hypocritical and sad. The discussion is Geoff and his apparent hate. This is funny. I can give you numerous examples of their hypocrisy. Like Tim Sessler claiming Geoff might be bi-polar. How about, one of the most despicable pieces of filth in my opinion, Jim Fisler. He talks about hate and denigrating good family men when that despicable piece of filth posted what he did about our police officers. He wrote why do they support those responsible for the killing their own. He did this right after one of their own was killed. That just disgusts me to no end. I could go on but I want to leave you with one of the most disturbing and hypocritical from our own Mayor Pro Tem. Keep in mind this is the same Steve Mensinger who threatened and verbally abused a young woman so bad her supervisor asked who was the jerk she was hearing on the phone yelling. The same guy who pulled a badge on, misrepresented himself to and bullied the young female baggage handler at JWA, saying he could get her fired. Here is now what this guy says.

Steve Mensinger: It's pretty one sided mike. It's not that complicated. A 77 year old blogger attacking women with verbal abuse. Silly guy.

It's not complicated alright Mr. Mensinger. You are a hypocrite!

So if/when the mayor loses, will he skip requesting a recount, and follow his normal course of action? He and the pro tem filing suit against the registrars office for some type of perceived mental deress or harassment for having to wait a week for the final count? Just sayin'

The hypocrisy is astounding. Jim Fitzy you really want to talk about divisive. How funny is Fitzy? Defending and supporting Jim Righeimer and then questioning someone else's possible divisiveness. You have got to be kidding. And how important is Geoff Wests blog and how much value has it added to the city? Just look at the votes results Fitzy. Your Mayor is battling for his life to remain on the council. A Bubbling Cauldron was and is a huge part of that result. Costa Mesa because of the grassroots groups and their efforts, the disgust for this Mayor and A Bubbling Cauldron, became some of the most educated voters in the county. The only question is did they get to enough. An incredible value to the city. It's actually a phenomenon what happened here, even if Righeimer squeaks it out. This should be studied and written about by our local news media. However I have zero faith in most of the press in Costa Mesa.

Jim Fitzpatrick asked and stated: Can anyone articulate the value of A Bubbling Cauldron to the city of Costa Mesa? I can see if you support CM$RG or want Righeimer thrown out, but I am talking to the city? And I can articulate the downside, the divisiveness, the anger.

A. Mensy's so dumb he can't even get Geoff's age right;

B. Mensy has no business claiming any other person is "abusive" towards women;

C. Mensy should be recalled whether or nor Humphrey is seated.

Bootlicking has greatly increased in Costa Mesa since 2010.

UCI just completed a study on the effects of boot polish ingestion on behavior. Five subjects were given an appointment to the planning commission and monitored. A control subject from the water board was also monitored.

The findings:

Alcohol intake greatly increased;

IQ went way down;

Food intake went way up;

Subjects would slump in their chair for no apparent reason at public forums;

Subjects would use "General Plan" as an excuse for all aberrant behavior;

Subjects would exhibit odd behavior like kissing the butts of others in public or making believe they themselves are psychologists and attempting to "diagnose" others.

The control subject kept leaving the lab to hold "open houses," even though he was licking up to 10,000 milligrams of boot polish per day. When asked how he could do this and still function, the subject stated that "the leather polish brand isn't so strong."

Conclusion:

Licking boots and ingesting boot polish still allows for simple daily tasks to be completed.

However, higher functions are definitely impaired, and people who do this will remain under the control of others their entire lives.
