Voice of OC - Appellate Court Says NO to FMW

FMW BID DEAD
Norberto Santana, Jr. at the Voice of OC blog, HERE, reports at 3:00 today that the 4th District Court of Appeals denied the Facilities Management West request to re-hear its deci
sion that halted the sale of the Orange County Fair and Event Center.

PLANS FOR RESURRECTION UNCLEAR
It's unclear whether FMW will take this issue to the State Supreme Court or not. According to the Voice of OC article, they are mulling that issue over.

BOY, slammed twice in two days! Riggy, Mesinger and his Developer Pals must be drinking themselves into a doozy at the Bar Monaham owns. Back-door deals gone astray.. Again, these crooks have played their cards and we all know now they have the GOP interests at heart and nothing else.

FMW needs to come to grips with the fact that no one in Costa Mesa, or Orange County for that matter, wants them to take control of OUR fairgrounds. This city doesn't need anymore high rises. We have more than enough.

FMW needs to get a life, --- somewhere else! Bye bye Becky .... you aligned yourself with the wrong crowd.

Both FMW and Becky need to take a hint!

Abandon ship . The ocgop may find that they have backed the wrong horses. National attention is leaning away from such heavy handed politics and looking for solutions that can reflect on the gop as a good thing, with hope and dreams and balance. This council is egg on the face of the gop, OC will go dem if this keeps up. Riggy and Mensinger only show how disposable they are. Costa mesa is in the big picture

Toke,
These boys are well-financed and well-connected. They won't be walking away anytime soon. The plan to take over our city has been long in the making. To paraphrase a CM wise man, it'll take a sustained effort, not a SWAT-like short operation to restore normalcy.

And it's not even all about party- one good thing that's come to the surface is that Costa Mesa has a large number of SANE Republicans who see the takeover for what it is and are resisting extremism.

A good sign for our city and our country.

Thank you Joe said. Well put! I am also Republican appalled and disgusted at what is happening in Costa Mesa. I think the word is spreading like wildfire that these individuals don't represent me or my interests. OCGOP will not be dragged through the mud by these slinky men.

Do you thing Monahan wanted the Fairgrounds to sell so he could move his burger stand over there?

He and Nick could have become buddies!
